FIRST OF ALL, WE DO NOT HAVE A DRESS CODE. JUST WEAR WHAT YOU HAVE!

Sunday: Church begins at 10:45 AM! When you come through the door a greeter will meet you to greet you and give you a church bulletin. Our greeters are Timothy Reese and Carolyn Allred. At 10:40 Am, the sanctuary lights are turned off. Pastor Marvin opens the service with prayer. The congregation prays while a worship song plays! Crystal Cummings, whom Pastor Marvin is mentoring, opens the service with a thought, God has given her, opening prayer and has everyone to greet each other.

Worship team who is: Pastor Marvin, Trina Melson, Bethany Russell, Jan Cahill, Jessica Mayfield and her children: Love lee and Heavenly. Also Vanessa Kanizai’s Grandchildren: Allie and Jamie Hensley also help out from time to time. It is during the greeting they start coming to the stage and as the congregation returns to their seats, stands, as the worship team sings 3 worship songs. Our songs are contemporary style.

The ushers, James Allred and Timothy Reese are called to come up front. Pastor Marvin blesses the people and receives the offering.

Pastor Marvin dismisses children for children church, which is always optional, if you prefer your children to remain in sanctuary for family service! Bethany Russell is our Children Church Pastor, Rylie Kanizai helps.

We do have a nursery/kitchenette, it is not staffed. You can feel free to take your child there any time. Changing table is in the ladies bathroom. Vanessa Kanizai assisting in the nursery, if you need any assistance.

Pastor Marvin preaches a relevant message, that God has given him for ALC Congregation. He is a remarkable preacher. He is not a long winded preacher. He gets to the heart of the message. He is passionate about God’s work. He loves to have fun but is serious about his Lord and Savior. He has been in ministry ever since he was around 18 years old. He will ask if anyone has a need for prayer or if anyone would like to receive their Savior, Jesus Christ into their lives. If they do we pray with them. See if they have any questions or if they would like to be baptized and set a time for the ceremony. Then he dismisses. Pastor’s wife, Betty will say goodbye at the door, as you leave. Pastor Marvin will join her as soon as he can. They love their people.

We have a small Library of books and DVD’s that can be checked out and brought back. Jan Cahill is our Librarian.
